Notes from Leena's lesson on 18th April:
B2B Process
  • Find a potential customer/company contacts (most of the big companies have the data already but sometimes you need to add company contacts by yourself and/or buy contact lists from another company, and keep your eyes open
  • Are new companies coming to the market and add them to CRM), phone call, agree a meeting, write down what you agreed during the meeting, offer, follow up (phone call, email, another meeting, event…next step), close the deal (yes/no),  agreement, sign the contract,
  • implementation and you should be able to add your offers and agreements on CRM tool too etc… inform the client about a new contact person (Key Account Manager).
  • Some companies have another person who takes care of the current clients and Sales Manager tries to get only new sales.
Picture

Sales Person
Sales person needs to explain and write down on CRM tool why the client did not make a deal:
  • what you agreed during the meeting,
  • some other relevant information which could help you,
  • your colleague or supervisor in a future when someone of you company contact the potential client again
You can also write down your potential client´s a hobby, name of a dog, something what client likes. Because small talk is also important and you need to sell yourself first, then your company. And feelings make the decision
Lesson Tasks
  1. Add company contacts
  2.
