About me

I am a British educational technology expert with over 20yrs of teaching experience. My key skills are in digital transformation, educational technology, e-learning development and leadership & coaching and project management. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology & International Politics (BSc Hons), Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Master of Business Administration in Communication Management (MBA) and I am a certified AWS Cloud Practitioner (qualification link). 
I am currently working towards obtaining the AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty and the AI certification with EITCA Academy. I aim to complete both certifications by the middle of 2024 or earlier, so keep an eye on this space! More information about these certifications here: 
As of January 2023 I moved back to the UK and currently work full-time as a skills coach at QA.com coaching learners studying on the MSc Digital Teaching Specialist Apprenticeship programme. Between August 2015 - January 2023 I was a Senior Lecturer at Haaga-Helia University in Helsinki, Finland and taught in the Business ICT degree and Cloud Technologies programmes in English. My interests outside educational technology and business are international current affairs and politics, fitness training, space exploration, wild camping & hiking, aviation and travelling.
